2017 Tasting Notes
The 2017 vintage offers a deeply expressive and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, shaped by a warm growing season that yielded wines of concentration and immediacy. Aromatically layered, it opens with notes of ripe blackcurrant, crushed blackberry, and dark plum, accented by hints of graphite, toasted cedar, and cocoa. On the palate, the wine is richly textured yet finely structured, with velvety tannins framing its dense core of dark fruit. Subtle undertones of espresso, baking spice, and smoked sage add complexity, while a persistent, polished finish reflects both intensity and refinement.

The 2018 vintage is widely regarded as one of Napa Valley’s most balanced and classically proportioned growing seasons, resulting in wines of exceptional harmony and precision. 2021 Tasting Notes
The 2021 Cabernet is classic for the vintage. Made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it opens up with expressive aromatics of dark cherry, dark chocolate, and cassis with a hint of holiday spices. On the palate it is full bodied, dark in tone with classic Napa tannins framing the wine from front to back while it showcases notes of dark cherry, black plum and black currant. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of sweetness from the French oak with layers of density carrying the wine. This wine is already showing impressively well and will continue to evolve over the next 20+ years.

2022 Tasting Notes
David Yarrow
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, David took up photography at an early age and as a 20-year-old found himself working as a photographer for The London Times on the pitch at the World Cup Final in Mexico City, one of numerous sporting events David covered as a press photographer. However, after University David went into banking and went on to launch a hedge fund – an industry he spent many years in. In 2014, he sold the fund to return to what had really been his passion all along.
He is now considered one of the best-selling photographers in the world.
